How to Create Database for WordPress Website or Blog Using cPanel?

The database is needed for a WordPress website. Without the database, you can not run the website properly. So you have to create a database for your WordPress Website. So you should know about How to Create Database for WordPress on your Web Server.

How to Create a Database for WordPress Website or Blog?

So we will tell you how we can create a database for WordPress using cPanel.

Step 1: Login into your cPanel using a username and password.

Step 2: You will see the Database option in cPanel.

Step 3: In Databases, you will see MySQL Databases. This option is available in front of phpMyAdmin. Click on MySQL Databases.

Step 4: When you will go to MySQL Databases, it will ask you to create a new database.

So put something in the blank area and click on Create Database. It will create a database for you.

Example: If we take 12 in the blank area then it will create a database for you like this.

Step 5: After creating a database, create a user for your Database. So you will see MySQL Users option after Create a Database. Here you will see Add New User under My SQL Users.

So here you will choose your Username and Password under Add New User. When you will choose your username and password, click on Create User. It will create a user for your Database.

In our case, we have taken the Database and the Username is the same. It will show the created user in Current Users, you can Change Password, Rename your user and also delete the user from here.

Step 6: After creating the database and user, you will add the user to your database.

So you will see Add a New User option after Create a New User in cPanel.

So you will see both User and Database. Here we have taken both the same. Click on Add.

After clicking on Add, it will ask you to Manage the Privileges. So choose all the options by a tick and click on Make changes.

Check ALL PRIVILEGES

So, it will add the user to the Database. It is the complete process for creating a database for your WordPress website.
